3(2x  + 1) - 2(x + 2) + 5 = 0

(6x + 3) - (2x  +  4) + 5 = 0

6x + 3 - 2x  -  4 + 5 = 0

4x + 4 = 0

4x =  - 4

x =  - 4  \div 4

x =  - 1
