solve the equation 3 X + 6 Y = 12 x - 2y = 8 ​

first we will take,

3x+6y=8

3x=8-6y

x=8-6y/3. .........(1)

now take, 12x-2y=8

put value of (1) here,

12(8-6y/3)-2y=8

96-72y-6y/3=8

96-78y=24

-78y=24-96

-78y=-72

y=72/78

y=12/13

put value of y in (1)

x=8-6(12/13)/3

x=8-72/13/3

x=104-72/13×1/3

x=32/13×1/3

x=32/39
