solve the equation 3x+4=5(x-2)

3x + 4 = 5(x - 2)

3x + 4 = 5x - 10

3x - 5x + 4 =  - 10

 - 2x  + 4 =  - 10

 - 2x =  - 10 - 4

 - 2x =  - 14

x =  \frac{14}{2}  = 7

so, x =7

Answer: 3x+4= 5x - 10

4+10 = 5x - 3x

14 = 2x

x = 14/2

Therefore , x= 7.
