\huge\bf\underline{Solution}

 \dfrac{5x}{4}  -  \dfrac{x - 1}{2}  =  \dfrac{x - 1}{3}

 =  >  \dfrac{5x - 2(x - 1)}{4}  =  \dfrac{x - 1}{3}

 =  >  \dfrac{5x - 2x + 2}{4}  =  \dfrac{x - 1}{3}

 =  >  \dfrac{3x + 2}{4}  =  \dfrac{x - 1}{3}

Cross multiplying the terms.

 =  > 3(3x + 2) = 4(x - 1)

 =  > 9x + 6 = 4x - 4

 =  > 9x - 4x =  - 4 - 6

 =  > 5x =  - 10

 =  > x =  -  \dfrac{10}{5}

 =  > x =  - 2

Hence the value of x is - 2.

Verification:-

L.H.S

Putting the value of x

 =  \dfrac{5 \times ( - 2)}{4}  -  \dfrac{( - 2) - 1}{2}

 =  -  \dfrac{10}{4}  -  \dfrac{ - 3}{2}

 =  -  \dfrac{10}{4}  +  \dfrac{3}{2}

 =  \dfrac{ - 10 + 6}{4}

 =  -  \dfrac{4}{4}

 =  - 1

Now, R.H.S

Putting the value of x

 =  \dfrac{ - 2 - 1}{3}

 =  -  \dfrac{3}{3}

 =  - 1

Therefore, L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence, Proved.
