4x -2y-4=0-----(2)

2×(1) = 4x +2y -12 =0 ------(3)

1×(2) = 4x -2y -4=0 ------(4)

4x-4x +2y+2y-12+4=0

4y -8=0

y =8/4

y =2

Putting y=2 in (1)

2x +2 =6

x=6-2/2

x=2

Therefore x=2,y=2
