5x = 2x + 9

5x - 2x = 9

3x = 9

x =  \frac{9}{3}

x = 3

By trial n error method,

Let the value of x be 1

5x - 2x = 9

3x = 9

3(1) \:  is \: not \: equal \: to \: 9

Hence x 1

Let the value of x be 3

5x - 2x = 9

3x = 9

3(3) = 9

9 = 9

Hence, The value of x is 3

Thnx✌️✌️
