Hi ,
( - 3x / 5 ) + 2 = 7
write additive inverse of 2 both sides of the
equation
( - 3x / 5 ) + 2 - 2 = 7 - 2
( - 3x / 5 ) = 5
multiply with multiplicative inverse of ( -3 / 5 )
both sides of the equation
( -3 / 5 ) ( - 5 / 3 ) x = 5 × ( - 5 / 3 )
x = -25 / 3
I hope this helps you.
