Q2) 7z - 18 = 2 - 28 + 2z

=> 7z - 2z = 2- 28 +18

=> 5z = 20 -28

=> 5z = -8

=> z = -8/5

Now,

verify the equation:-

=>7z - 18 = 2 - 28 + 2z

=> 7(-8/5) - 18 = 2 - 28 + 2(-8/5)

=> -56/5 - 18 = - 26 - 16/5

=> -56 -90/5 = -130-16/5

=> -146/5 = -146/5

LHS = RHS

Linear equation in one variable :- it is an equation which is formed in the az + b = 0 where, A and B are two integers and z is only one variable so, it has only one solution.
