Solution :

In the given equation,

x2+10−8x−10−14=0

a=1,b=10−8,c=−10−14

∴x=−b±b2−4ac−−−−−−−√2a

⇒x=−10−8±10−16−4(−10−14)−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−√2

⇒x=−10−8±10−14(1100+4)−−−−−−−−−−−−−√2

⇒x=−10−8±10−16(401)−−−−−−−−−√2

⇒x=−10−8±(10−8)(401)−−−−√2

⇒x=10−8(−1±(401)−−−−√2)

Answer:

a=1,b=10-8,c=-10-14

∴x=-b±b2-4ac2a

⇒x=-10-8±10-16-4(-10-14)2

⇒x=-10-8±10-14(1100+4)2

⇒x=-10-8±10-16(401)2

⇒x=-10-8±(10-8)(401)2

⇒x=10-8(-1±(401)2)
