Answer:

First multiply out the bracket on the LHS of the equation.

3x3+18=2x2+27x

Rearrange to get a cubic equation.

3x3+18−2x2−27x=0

3x3−2x2−27x+18=0

Now find a number that can be substituted into x that will make the equation equal zero.

When x = 3, the equation is zero.

We now have a factor and now we can factorise the equation.

(x−3)(3x2+7x−6)→(x−3)(3x−2)(x+3)

Now you can find the answers for x.

x=3,−3,23

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _✍️

 =  >  \frac{x}{2}  - 3  =  - 5

=>L.C.M of x/2 and -3 is 2

 =  >  \frac{x - 6}{2}  =  - 5

=>In the left side 2 is divided so when it goes to R.H.S its signs gets changed from divide to multiply.

 =  > x - 6 =  - 10

 =  > x =  - 10 + 6

 \bold{\red{=  > x =  - 4}}

Now check the equation whether the X's value satisfies the equation or not :

 =  >  \frac{x}{2}  - 3 = 5

 =  >  -  \frac{4}{2}  - 3 =  - 5

 =  >  - 2 - 3 =  - 5

X's value satisfies the equation.

Hence,Value of x is -4
