Solve the equations (8x + 1)/4 + 1 = (x – 5)/8

hi mate

here is your answer

 \frac{(8x + 1)}{4 }  + 1 =  \frac{(x - 5)}{8}

 \frac{8x + 1 + 4}{4}  =  \frac{x - 5}{8}

8(8x + 5) = 4(x - 5)

64x + 40 = 4x - 20

64x - 4x =  - 20 - 40

60x =  - 60

x =  - 1
