2x +y - 6 = 0

2x + y = 6

 \frac{2x}{6} + \frac{y}{6} = 1 \\ \frac{x}{3} + \frac{y}{6} = 1 \\

p(3,6)

again

4x - 2y - 4 = 0

4x - 2y= 4

 \frac{4x}{4} - \frac{2y}{4} = 1 \\ \frac{x}{1} + \frac{y}{( - 2)} = 1

so P1 (1 ,-2)

Formula used

equation of straight line

 \frac{x}{a} + \frac{y}{b} = 1 \\ p(a \: b)
