is more than twice its breadth What are the length and the

8. The ages of Asha and Nirmal are in the ratio 5.6 Five years from
now their ages will be 6:7 Find their present ages​

1)7x/5=x-4

    ∴7x-x = -4 *5

    ∴6x    =-20

   ∴x        =  -20/6

   ∴x        =   -5/3  

2)3x – 1= 2x - 2/3

    ∴ 3x - 2x = -2/3 +1

   ∴  x            =- 5/ 3

   

  3) .3x + 4(x - 1) =5/2

       3x + 4x -4 = 5/4

         7x    =  5/4 +4

         7x    =  21 /4

      x = 21/28

x = 3/4
