 \to \frac{x}{ 3} + \frac{x}{4} = 14 \\ \\ \to\frac{4x + 3x}{12} = 14 \\ \\ \to 7x = 168 \\ \\ \to x = \frac{168}{7} \\ \\ \to x = 24

Verification :

Put the value of x = 24 in x/3+x/4 , we get

 \to \frac{24}{3} + \frac{24}{3} \\ \\ \to 7 + 7 \\ \\ \to 14

Hence verified

x/3 + x/4 = 7x/12 = 14 ; x=24
Putting 24 in the equation we get
24/3 + 24/4 = 8+6 = 14
Hence, verified
