Step-by-step explanation:

4x - 12 + 6x - 8 = 0

4x + 6x - 12 - 8 = 0

10x - 20 = 0

10x = 0 + 20

x = 20/10

x = 2

Check out:

4(2 - 3) + 2(3 × 2 - 4) = 0

8 - 12 + 12 - 8 = 0

0 = 0

Solution:-

Equation:-

=> 4( x - 3 ) + 2( 3x - 4 ) = 0

=> 4x - 12 + 6x - 8 = 0

=> 10 x - 20 = 0

=> 10x = 20

=> x = 20 / 10

=> x = 2

So value of x = 2

Now we are checking result

=> 4( x - 3 ) + 2( 3x - 4 ) = 0

Now put x = 2

=> 4 ( 2 - 3 ) + 2 ( 3 × 2 - 4 ) = 0

=> 4 ( - 1 ) + 2 ( 6 - 4 )

=> - 4 + 4 = 0

=> 0 = 0
