4(x -y )  + 3y - 5 = 0

4x -y = 5 .............eqn(1)

5x -2x +2y = 12

3x + 2y = 12 ...........eqn(2)

Multiplying equation (1) with 2, we get:

8x - 2y = 10 .........eqn(3).

Adding equation (2) and (3), we get:

11x = 22

x = 2.

Plugging the values of x = 2, in equation(1) we get:

8 - y = 5

y = 3.
