Given, 3x-5y-4=0

or, x = (5y + 4) / 3  (1)

9x = 2y + 7  (2)

Substituting eqn. (1) in eqn. (2), we get

9 (5y + 4) / 3 = 2y + 7

or, 3 (5y +4) = 2y + 7

or, 15y +12 -2y - 7= 0

or, 13y + 5 = 0

or, y = (- 5) / 13

so, x =(5(-5) / 13 + 4 ) / 3

x= 27/39

x = 9/13
