Step-by-step explanation:

By substitution method

2x - 3y + 15 = 0 ---(1)

3x - 5 = 0

3x = 5

x = 5/3 ----(2)

Put (2) in (1)

2(5/3) - 3y + 15 = 0

10/3 - 3y + 15 = 0

10/3 + 15 = 3y

(10 + 45)/3 = 3y

55 = 9y

y = 55/9
