solve the following pair of equation by the method of substitution (1). x+y=2 ; y-2=2x

(2). 3-(x-5)=y+2 ; 2(x+y)=4-3y

please answer both parts

solve equation 2 y-2 =2x gives y=2x+2
substitute in equation 1
x+2x+2=2 ; 3x +2 = 2 ; 3x= 2-2; 3x= 0
x= 0
put it in any equation
y = 2 (0)+2
y = 2
