HEYA HERE IS YOUR ANSWER....!!

4x+9y=5......(1)

3x-5y=39.......(2)

Multiply Eqn ( 1 × 5 ) and ( 2 × 9 )

20x+45y=25........ (3)

27x-45y=351.........(4)

ON COMPARING (3)&(4)

47x= 376

x = 8......

Putting x in (1)

4×8 +9y= 5

32+9y=5

9y=-27

y= -3.....

x = 8 , y = -3.....

HOPE IT'S HELP YOU A LOT....!!

Step-by-step explanation:

Heya !!

Given :-

  • 4x + 9y = 5 ...... equ. ( 1 )
  • 3x - 5y = 39 ...... equ. ( 2 )

From equ. ( 1 )

4x + 9y = 5

4x = 5 - 9y

x = 5 - 9y/4 ...... equ. ( 3 )

applying the value of x from ...... equ. ( 2 )

3x-5y =39

3( 5 - 9y/4 ) - 5y = 39

15 - 27y - 20y = 156

- 47 y = 156 - 15

- 47y = 141

y = - 141/47

y = - 3

applying the value of y from ...... equ. ( 1 )

4x + 9y = 5

4x + 9 × - 3 = 5

4x - 27 = 5

4x = 5 + 27

4x = 32

x = 32/4

x = 8

Hence the value of x = 8 and y = -3
