Answer:

As given the equations

4x - 3y = 8

Simplify the above equation

3 × (6x - y) = 29

3 × 6x - 3 × y = 29

18x - 3y = 29

Two equations are

4x - 3y=8

18x - 3y = 29

Subtracted 4x - 3y=8 from 18x - 3y = 29 .

18x - 4x -3y + 3y = 29 - 8

14x = 21

Putting this in the equation 4x-3y=8 .

Therefore the solution of equtions are X=3/2   and  Y= -2/3
