QUESTION -

Solve the following pair of linear equation by substitution method X+2y-3=0:, 3x-2y+7=0

ANSWER -

By adding eq1 and 2

x+2y-3=0

3x-2y+7=0

ans by solving this

4x+0+4=0

4 moves to the right side of equal and

sign becomes negative

4x=-4

x=-4/4

x=-1

put the value of x in eq 1 to get y

x+2y-3=0

-1+2y-3=0

-4+2y=0

2y=4

y=4/2

y=2
