2x + 3y = 13 -------(1)
0.4x + 0.5y = 2.3
4x + 5y = 23 --------(1)
now,
from equation (1)
2x +3y = 13
2x = 13 -3y
x = (13 -3y)/2
put this in equation (1)
4(13 -3y)/2 + 5y = 23
2( 13 -3y) +5y = 23
26 -6y + 5y = 23
-y + 26 = 23
y = 3 and x = 2
2x + 3y = 13 -------(1)
0.4x + 0.5y = 2.3
4x + 5y = 23 --------(1)
now,
from equation (1)
2x +3y = 13
2x = 13 -3y
x = (13 -3y)/2
put this in equation (1)
4(13 -3y)/2 + 5y = 23
2( 13 -3y) +5y = 23
26 -6y + 5y = 23
-y + 26 = 23
