Solve the following pair of linear equations : 2x+3y = 2 , x-2y = 8.

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + 3y = 2
x - 2 y = 8 ---------- multiply it with 2
2x - 4 y = 16

subtract 3 - 1 => 7x = -14 => x = -2 and y = 2
