solve the following pair of linear equations by eliminating y(substitution) 1).7x+11y=3,8x+y=15. 2)x/3+y/4=6,x/6+y/2=6. 3) 1/x+1/y=2 , 1/y-1/x=6

on substituting y = 1
1) 7x + 11 = 3
7x =-11+3
7x=-8
X=-8/7

8x+1 = 15
8x= 15-1
8x=14
X=14/8=7/4
