x = 4  & y = 9  is solution of linear equations 2/√x + 3/√y =2 , 4/√x - 9/√y = -1

Step-by-step explanation:

2/√x + 3/√y =2

4/√x - 9/√y = -1

u = 1/√x    v = 1/√y

=> 2u  + 3v  = 2   Eq1

&  4u  - 9v  = - 1     Eq2

3 * eq1  + Eq2

=> 6u + 9v  + 4u - 9v = 6  - 1

=> 10u  = 5

=> u =  1/2

=> 2(1/2) + 3v = 2

=> 3v = 1

=> v = 1/3

u =  1/√x  = 1/2

=> √x = 2

Squaring both sides

=> x  = 4

v =  1/√y  = 1/3

=> √y = 3

Squaring both sides

=> y  = 9

x = 4  & y = 9

x = 4  & y = 9  is solution of linear equations 2/√x + 3/√y =2 , 4/√x - 9/√y = -1
