Given:
- 3x+2y= 11 -eq1
- 2x+2y= 4 -eq2
subtracting eq2 from eq1 :
(3x+2y)-(2x+2y) = 11-4.
=> 3x-2x+2y-2y = 7
=> x = 7
substituting the value of x in eq2 :
2(7)+2(y) = 4
=> 14+2y= 4
=> 2y = -10
=> y = -5
so the value of x = 7
value if y = -5
