4√3 x2 + 5x -2√3 = 0

By factorisation

4√3 x2 + 8x -3x -2√3 = 0

4x(√3 x + 2 ) -√3 (√3 x + 2 ) = 0

(√3 x + 2 ) (4x - √3 ) = 0

Hence x = √3/4  or x = -2/√3

By quadratic eqn. formula

end style

hence x = √3/4  or x = -2/√3
