Answer:

●On diving by xy in both equation.

6/y + 3/x = 7

3/y + 9/x = 11.

●Let 1/x = u and 1/y = v , So,

6v + 3u = 7 -------(1). 3v + 9u = 11 -------(2).

●On multiplying by 2 in eq (2) and subtracting with (1).

we get, 6v + 3u = 7

- 6v +18u = 22.

- 15u = - 15

{u = 1}

putting u = 1 in eq (1).

6v + 3 × 1 = 7

6v + 3 = 7

6v = 7 - 3

6v = 4

v = 4/6 = 2/3.

Now, u = 1/x v = 1/y

1/x = 1 1/y = 2/3

【x = 1】. y = 3/2

【y = 1.5 】
