Solution:

Eq.1=》(4x+3y=4 ) × 6

Eq.2=》(6x+5y=8 ) × 4

Eq.1=》24x+18y=24

Eq.2=》24x+20y=32

Now subtracting Eq.1 from Eq.2 on both hand side

=》24x+18y-(24x+20y)=24-32

=》24x+18y-24x-20y= -8

=》-2y=-8

=》y=4

Now putting the value of y in Eq.1

=》4x+3×4=4

=》4x+12=4

=》4x=4-12

=》4x= -8

=》x= -2

Thus,

x= -2

y=4

Putting the value of x and y in Eq.1

4x+3y=4

4×(-2)+3×4=4

-8+12=4
