10m + 2n = 4 (equation 1 )
4m + n = 3 (equation 2)
Multiply (equation 2 ) by 2 :
4×2 m + 1 × 2 n = 3 × 2
8m + 2n = 6 ( equation 3 )
Subtract (equation 3 ) from (equation 1)
10m + 2n = 4

2m = - 2
m = -2 / 2
m = -1
Now, Put "m" value in (equation 1) to find value of 'n' :
10m + 2n = 4
10 (-1 ) + 2n = 4
-10 + 2n = 4
2n = 4 + 10
2n = 14
n = 14 / 2
n = 7
Value of m = -1
Value of n = 7
