47
Subtracting the equation
41x-47y=35
47x-41y=53
(-) (+) =(-)
----------------
-6x-6y= -18
-6(x+y)= -18
x+y= -18/-6
x+y=3 ----------------(1)
Adding the equation
41x-47y=35
47x-41y=53
(+) (+) =(+)
-----------------
88x-88y=88
88(x-y) =88
x-y =88/88
x-y=1 -----------------(2)
Now Adding equation (1) & (2)
x+y =3
x-y =1
--------
2x-0=4
2x=4
x=4/2
x=2 ------------------(ans)
Subtracting equation (1) & (2)
x + y =3
x - y =1
(-) (+) (-)
------------
0+2y =2
2y = 2
y = 2/2
y = 1 -----------------(ans)
