Answer:

reciprocating both LHS AND RHS

4x+6y+(21x-14y)/12=2

taking LCM

(48x+72y+21x-14y)/12 =2

69x+58y=24 _ _ _ (1)

similarly second equation

(2x+3y)/7+(3x-2y)/4=1/2

(8x+12y+21x-14y)/28=1/2

29x-2y=14_ _ _ _ (2)

now multiply(2) by 29 and adding the resulted equation with equation(1)

69x+59y=24

841x-59y=406

911x=430

x=430/911

putting the value in equation (2)

29(430/911)-2y=14

2y=[12470-(14×911)]/911

y=-284/911×2

y=-142/911

[i dont know whether the answer are correct or not but the procedure followed will be same]
