Answer:(x,y)=(-2,5)

We can solve for

\left \{ {{2x+3y=11} \atop {2x-4y=-24}} \right.

If we divide equation below by GCD, we have

x-2y=-12

We know x=2y-12 --- 1

Plug it in 2x+3y=11

Solve for y

2(2y-12)+3y=11

4y-24+3y=11

7y=35

y=5

Plug y=5 into 1

x=10-12=-2
