Solution:

Given,

→ 18 - 3(2x - 5) > 12, (x ∈ W)

We have to solve the given inequation.

→ 18 - 6x + 15 > 12, (x ∈ W)

→ 33 - 6x > 12, (x ∈ W)

Subtracting 12 from both sides, we get,

→ 33 - 12 - 6x > 12 - 12, (x ∈ W)

→ 21 - 6x > 0, (x ∈ W)

Adding 6x to both the sides, we get,

→ 21 - 6x + 6x > 0 + 6x, (x ∈ W)

→ 21 > 6x, (x ∈ W)

→ 6x < 21, (x ∈ W)

Dividing both sides by 6, we get,

→ 6x/6 < 21/6, (x ∈ W)

→ x < 7/2, (x ∈ W)

→ x < 3.5, (x ∈ W)

As x ∈ W,

→ x ={0, 1, 2, 3}

Answer:

  • x ={0, 1, 2, 3}
