\textbf{Your answer is -}

Let , R1 = R and R2 = 6ohm

Let, V1 = 6V and V2 = 12V

We know that in series combination current I is same in all resistance

Now, according to ohms law

l = V2/R2

=> I = 12/6

=> I = 2ampere

So, 2 ampere current flow through a conductor .

a) According to ohms law

V1 = lR1

=> R1 = V1/I

=> R = 6/2

=> R = 3 ohm

b) Current flow through through the conductor is 2 ampere . So , reading of voltmeter is 2ampere .

c) Total voltage is

V1 + V2 = 6 + 12 = 18Volt

So, potential difference across the terminal of the battery is 18 volt

\textbf{【 Hope it helps you 】}
