Answer:

2/x + 3/y =13 , 5/x -4/y = -2

In eq. first

2/x = 13- 3/y

2/x = (13y - 3) / y

x = 2y /(13y-3)

Putting the value of x in eq. 2nd,

5/ 2y / 13y-3 -4/y =-2

65y -15 / 2y -4/y =-2

130y -30 -4/4y=-2

130y -34/4y =-2

130y -34 = -8y

138y = 34

y = 34/ 138

y = 17 / 69

2/ x +3/17/69 = 13

2/x + 207/17 = 13

2/x = 13 -207/17

2/x = 221- 207/17

2/x = 214/17

x = 17× 2 / 214

x = 17/107
