Hi ,
It is given that,
√2x + √3y = 0
=> x = ( -√3/√2 )y---( 1 )
√3x - √8y = 0 -----( 2 )
Substitute equation ( 1 ) in equation ( 2 ),
we get
=>√3( -√3/√2)y - √8y = 0
=> (-3/√2 )y - √8y = 0
y = 0
substitute y = 0 in equation ( 1 ),
we get
x = ( - √3/√2 )× 0
x = 0
Therefore ,
x = 0 , y = 0
I hope this helps you.
