17x- 11y=8

2x + y= 17.
y = 17 - 2x
Now, We have value of " y "
17x - 11y = 8 .
17x -11(17-2x)=8
17x - 187 + 22x = 8
39 -187 = 8
39x = 8 + 187
39x = 195
x = 195/39 = 5
Now, Substitute x value in equation of y
y = 17 - 2 ( 5)
y = 17 -10
y = 7 .
Value of x = 5
Value of y = 7 .
