3x + 4y = 10 --------(i)

2x - 2y = 2 ------(ii)

3x = 10 - 4y

x = (10-4y)/3 , Substituting value of x in equation (ii)

2{(10-4y)/3} - 2y = 2

(20-8y)/6 - 2y = 2

20 - 8y - 12y = 12

-20y = -8

y = 8/20

y = 2/5

x = (10-8/5)/3

x = (50-8/5)/3

x = 42/15

x = 14/5
