Answer:

x = 3 y = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

5×3+7×2 = 29

15 + 14 = 29

29 = 29

3-2×2 = -1

3 - 4 = -1

-1 = -1

Step-by-step explanation:

5x+7y=29(i)

x-2y= -1(ii)

eq.n(ii)=>

x= -1+2y(iii)

putting the value of x in eqn.(i)

5(-1+2y)+7y=29

=>-5+10y+7y=29

=>17y-5=29

=>17y=29

=>y=29/17

Now,putting the value of y in eq.n (iii)

x= -1+2y

=>x= -1+2(29/17)

=>x=41/17

so,x=41/17 & y=29/17

vanajasiddamsetty: wrong answer man
pmisang193: how??
vanajasiddamsetty: put x = 3 and y = 2 you will get LHS and RHS equal
pmisang193: bro this is linear equation problem here you have not prove that lhs=rhs
