The Question says that there is a number which when multiplied by 5 increased by 80, So Let that number be 'x'

ATQ --

x × 5 = x + 80

=> 5x = 80 + x

=> 5x - x = 80

=> 4x = 80

=> x = 80 ÷ 4

=> x = 20

So the number is 20.

VERIFICATION---

20 × 5 = 20 + 80

100 = 100

Since L.H.S = R.H.S

Therefore value of x is correct.

Hello here is your answer ...

Let the number be = x
when it is multiplied by 5 = 5x

According to question when the number is multiplied by 5 is increased by 80
So, the equation is

5x=x+80
5x-x=80
4x=80
x=80/4
x=20..

So the number is \mathfrak{\huge{\blue{20}}}

<b><i><u>VERIFICATION</b></i></u>

X=20

5X = X+80
5(20)=20+80
100=100
