Area of a door = 2 × 1.5 = 3 Sq. m

Area of two windows = 2 ( 1.5 × 1 ) = 3 Sq. m

Area to be white washed = 365 - 3 - 3 = 356 Sq. m

Cost = 356 × 6.4

= Rs. 2278.4

So the cost for white washing is Rs.2278.4

total surface area =2[(lb)+(bh)+(hl)]

=2[9×8+8×6.5+6.5×9]

=2(72+52+58.5)

=2×182.5

=365m²

TSA-(two windows+one door)

area of the door=2×1.5

=3m²

area of two windows=2×1.5×1

=3m²

365-(3+3)

=365-6

=359m²

we have to exclude floor also. Because we don't paint floor.

359-(9×8)

=359-72

=287m²

cost of painting per my=6.4 RS

cost of painting for 287m²=6.4×287

=1836.8 Rs
