Answer :-

Given :-

  • Number of one rupee coin is three time two rupee coin.

  • Total money = Rs. 150

To Find :-

  • Number of both coins

Solution :-

Let the number of two rupee coins be x

Number of one rupee coins = 3x

Amount of two rupee coins = Rs. 2x

Amount of one rupee coins = Rs. 3x

Total amount = Rs. 150

So,

→ 2x + 3x = 150

→ 5x = 150

→ x = 150 / 5

→ x = 30

  • Number of two rupee coins = 30
  • Number of one rupee coins = 90

Answer:

There are 90 , 1rupee coins and 30, 2rupee coins in the bag

Step-by-step explanation:

let the no. of 2 rupee coins be x

=> the no. of 1 rupee coins = 3x

Given amount in the bag = Rs. 150

=> 3x * Rs.1 + x * Rs.2 = Rs. 150

=> Rs 3x + Rs. 2x = Rs.150

=> Rs. 5x = Rs. 150

=> x = 150/5

=> x = 30

so,  the no. of 2 rupee coins = 30

and the no. of 1 rupee coins = 3*30 = 90
