SOLUTION

2x² - 7x +3=0

On comparing this equation with ax² +

bx + c = 0, we get

a = 2, b = -7 and c = 3

By using quadratic formula, we get

x = -b+sqrt(b2-4ac)/(2a)

⇒ x = 7+sqrt(49-24)/4

⇒ x = 7+sqrt25/4

⇒ x = 7±5/4`

= (7+5)/4 View in app X

Answer:

solution:-

Given equation is 2x2−7x+3=0

Hence, a=2,b=−7,c=3

Therefore, x=2a−b±b2−4ac

=47±25

=47±5

Thus, x=3 and x=21
