a) The number of students represented by a room is 5 .

b) Number of girls passed class 6 = 10 .

Number of boys who passed class 6 = 30 .

Number of boys and girls = 30 + 10 = 40 .

c)

Number of students who passed the exam = 15 + 20

= 35 .

Hence there were 35 students .

d)

Number of students = 35 + 15 = 50 .

Number of students passed = 50 .

Number of appearing students = 55 .

Percentage = 50/55 × 100

= 10/11 × 100

= 10 × 9.09

= 90.9 % approx

e)

Number of appeared students = 30 .

Number of passed = 25 + 5 = 30 .

% of success = 30/30 × 100 = 100%

f)

Number of appeared students = 30 + 10 = 40

Number of students passed = 20 .

% = 20/40 × 100% = 100/2 % = 50%

The percentage is 50%
