Let R(2,-5) be the mid point of PQ.

Here,

Let the coordinates of P be (0,p)   ---- Line intersects the y-axis, so x = 0.

Let the coordinates of Q be (q,0)  ---- Line intersects the x-axis, so y = 0.

TPS: Everything is fine except 1 thing: You didn't read the question carefully. P is on y axis and Q is on x axis. You interchanged them. In exam, be attentive.
poojakumaresh26: thn how will the diagram be formed
TPS: Diagram is fine... Just, P is (0,y) and Q is (x,0)
TPS: P is on y-axis. A point on y-axis is always in the form (0,y), right?
poojakumaresh26: yup...got it
TPS: So coordinate of P will be (0,y)
TPS: and Q will be (x,0)
TPS: :)
TPS: Dont edit..let it be..Do the other questions.
poojakumaresh26: ohkay..
