9. Let the unknown number be x; then,

( \frac{ - 1}{5}  +  \frac{4}{10} ) + x =   \frac{3}{15}  \\  =  >  \frac{2}{10}  + x =  \frac{3}{15}  \\  =  > x =  \frac{3}{15}  -  \frac{2}{10}  =  \frac{0}{30}  =  0

10. Let the unknown number be x; then,

 \frac{ - 3}{4}  - x =  \frac{5}{6}  \\  =  > x  =  \frac{ - 3}{4}  -  \frac{5}{6}  \\  =  > x =  \frac{ - 18 - 20}{24}  =  \frac{ - 38}{24}  =  \frac{19}{12}  \\  =  > x = 1 \frac{7}{12}
