Mohan = 16-x
Before 4 years,
Madam= x+4
Mohan = 4+(16-x)
So,
x= 3(16-x)
x= 48 - 3x ( because here, 3 is common so we should multiply 3 with 16 and x )
x+3x = 48
4x = 48
x = 12

So, Mohan present age is 12 years
Madam age =; 12 + x = 16
x = 16-12
x = 4
