Mass is constant everywhere that is on the equator as well as at the poles

Weight differs, cause the centrifugal force is greater at the poles therefore weight is greater at poles as compared to equator.

Hope it Helps.............

this is the answer
1). At the equator , because that's where the radius of the earth is longest considering the radius of poles from the centre. More the radius ,lesser the value of g. ( according to the variation of gravity on surface of earth)
the value will be 9.78 m/s2
2)At the poles, because that's where the radius of earth is smallest considering the radius of the equator from the centre. Lesser the radius ,higher the value of g.
(vice versa of first statement)
the value will be 9.832 m/s2

this is it.
